OF ACCESS TO MENDOZA
Mendoza shares its Western border with the Republic of Chile, with
the Chilean capital, Santiago being 360 kilometres away and the
distance to Buenos Aires being 1,080 kilometres.
TRANSPORT
Buses and trolleybuses: tickets are paid on the bus (with coins).
One can also buy a Mendobus card in kiosks and other shops. There is
also an ecological option, the electric trolleybus and the tourist
tram running along Belgrano, Las Heras, San Martin and Colon
Streets.
Trolleybuses: the city counts with six trolley lines, an
ecological, silent and fairly cheap means of transport. The service
is free of charge for retired people and the Handicapped.
