LAS LEÑAS VALLEY
The most important winter complex in South America is located at just 75 kilometres (46,60 miles) from Malargüe district and 445 km (276,51 miles) to the south of Mendoza city.

Las Leñas offers an unbeatable snow quality, an international gastronomy and first class hotel facilities.
Due to its geographical location, this international tourist complex offers an exclusively long season that goes from June to October inclusive.
It has: lit slopes, a factory that generates artificial snow, ski and snowboard school, snow garden and nursery school, mall, convention centre, restaurants at the base and in the slopes, gyms, sauna, casino, and security. Wide hotel offer: 3 and 5 star hotels, apartment hotels and dorms.
Ski slopes, means of elevation and programs: The valley has the longest crossing of free off-piste skiing in South America (16 kilometres -9,94 miles), a complete slope snow park and one of the longest uninterrupted descents on intermediate slopes on the world (7 kilometres -4,35 miles)

*28 ski and snowboard slopes classified as easy, intermediate, difficult and very difficult.
*13 means of elevation: 7 chair lifts with capacity for 2 to 4 people and 6 ski lifts.
*Area for skiing: 17,500 has (43,243 acres).
*Base: 2,240 metres above sea level (7,350 feet) and 3,430 metres. (11,253 feet) at the summit
