THROUGH THE WINE ROADS- CENTRE OASIS
The program includes:
*Accommodation 4 days/ 3 nights at the hotel chosen.
*All transfers in and out and detailed tours with a bilingual guide (includes
group tours and private tours)
*Visits to the wineries as indicated in the itinerary
Note: the passengers can make some changes in the wineries suggested but
its location and availability to receive tourists will be taken into
account. The itinerary can be modified as well if on the appointed date
the winery has no availability due to an event or a special visit of
their own.
*Lunch with drinks included at Zuccardi winery and dinner at Mi Tierra
restaurant
On this program you can see the Centre East Oasis, which is located in
the north of the province, irrigated by the waters of Mendoza River, at
the foothills, and includes mainly the vineyards of the districts Lujan
de Cuyo and Maipu. Due to the soil characteristics and its climate, it
is the most important area where high quality wines are produced (reds
as well as whites). The most important wineries of the province are
located on these districts and they open their doors to those who are
interested on the process of wine making.
Day 1- Mendoza
Picking you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
In the afternoon, sightseeing of the city of Mendoza and surrounding
areas. On this tour, tourists will visit the Foundational Area Museum,
the ‘Alameda’, General San Martin Park, Cerro de la Gloria (Glory’s
Hill), among other characteristic places of the province where the tour
guide will not only point them out but will also comment on the history
of the province from its foundation till today.
For dinner, we offer you to enjoy the evening at Mi Tierra restaurant.
Day 2-Wineries in Maipu
Breakfast at the hotel and then we will start the wine tour in the
district of Maipu.
First, we will visit Casa Vinícola Reyter, where they make champagne.
This winery is surrounded by a charming view of vines and mountains
where you can enjoy its facilities and know the secrets of its
champagnes. You will also be able to visit the art exhibition in the
‘Casa Patronal’ with well-known painters and sculptors from the province
and the country.
Next, we will visit Lopez Winery. We will see the vineyards and the old
and new areas of the winery, ending the tour with a wine tasting.
Then, we will visit Zuccardi winery where they will explain to us the
process of making their wines from the vineyards to the winery.
After the tour and tasting in the ‘Cava de Turismo’, we will share lunch
at ‘Casa del Visitante’ (The Guest House), with Zuccardi wines.
Day 3. Wineries in Lujan de Cuyo.
After breakfast, we will head towards the district of Lujan de Cuyo to
visit important wineries and vineyards, where we will visit Luigi Bosca
winery. Then, we will go to Nieto Senetiner Winery where we will get to
know the vineyards and the cellar, where we will taste their wines.
Then, we will end our tour visiting Ruca Malen winery, where we will
have lunch. After lunch, we go back to the hotel.
Day 4- Mendoza
After breakfast, we go to the airport or bus station. End of our
services.
