THE PATAGONIA REGION

It is located in the Province of Río Negro, 39 degrees of latitude south. It is a vast valley which rises at the foothills of the Andes and extends itself into the conjunction of the Neuquén and Limay Rivers.

It has an altitude of 3000 metres and the climate is continental, temperate and dry, with noticeable thermal amplitude. Its average temperature is 15º C. The rainfall rate ranges from 200 mm to 300 mm per year.

It has typical desert soils. They are distinguished soil walls, sandy and silty. They are young and aluvional with particle of medium to coarse sizes.
The ecological conditions are ideal for obtaining white wines such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Riesling, Semillon and Traminer.
